Early Childhood Equity Fund Program

We offer no-cost part-day Infant-Toddler and Preschool slots for children from historically marginalized communities. Funded by Oregon’s Early Childhood Equity Fund (ECEF) through the Student Success Act, this program provides access to high-quality, culturally specific care and education.

 

Eligibility Requirement

Must reside in Washington or Multnomah County

Belong to a historically marginalized ethnic group

Meet age requirements:

Preschool: Must be age 3 or 4 by September 1 of the enrollment year

Infant-Toddler: Age 2 months to 3 years after September 1

Priority Enrollment

ECEF supports children who:

Identify as Black, African, or African American and other BIPOC identities

Face linguistic or socioeconomic barriers

Have been impacted by behavioral diagnoses, prior suspensions, or low academic performance

Our Program Includes

Infant-Toddler Part-Day Program (ages 2 months to 3 years)

Preschool Part-Day Program (ages 3 or 4 by September 1 of enrollment year)

Monthly Parent Workshops

HighScope Curriculum

Sensory-Friendly Classrooms

USDA-Approved Meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks)

Parent Commitments

Attend Parent Orientation before enrollment

Participate in monthly Parent Education Workshops

Volunteer 2 hours per month in the classroom

Complete and upload weekly Parent-Child Activities via Kaymbu

Attend three Parent-Teacher Conferences annually

Submit the Ages and Stages Questionnaire twice per year

EE4 (Beaverton – Infants): 12 Infant slots

EE5 (Beaverton – Toddlers): 9 Toddler slots
